NOTICE: BY LEAGUE REGULATIONS, ANY U10 THROUGH U14 PLAYERS CURRENTLY REGISTERED WITH A COMPETITIVE TEAM OR CLUB IN GBYSL IN THE RENO/SPARKS AREA, MAY NOT TRYOUT FOR ANOTHER CLUB OR TEAM. IF YOU ARE PART OF THESE CLUBS, YOU MAY NOT TRYOUT FOR OUR TEAMS (NV ELITE, LEGACY, INTERNATIONAL, SPANISH SPRINGS, OR INDEPENDENT TEAMS IN THE RENO/SPARKS AREA).
OUT OF TOWN, GBYSL RECREATIONAL, AYSO, NNYSL OR PLAYERS NEW TO THE RENO/SPARKS AREA ARE INVITED TO ATTEND OUR PRACTICES FOR AN ASSESSMENT TO JOIN OUR PROGRAM FOR AGES U6-U9 PRE-COMPETITIVE AND U10 THROUGH U12 COMPETITIVE
We have spots available for “Competitive” Players for the following age brackets:
U10 Girls Patriots 02/03 for players born 08/01/2002 to 07/31/2003
U11 Girls Patriots 01/02 for players born 08/01/2001 to 07/31/2002
U12 Girls Patriots 00/01 for players born 08/01/2000 to 07/31/2001
PRACTICE DATES: November 6, 8, 27, 29, 2012. 5:30 to 7:30 pm.
LOCATION: Mira Loma Park
WHAT PLAYERS WILL NEED: Please bring soccer cleats, shin-guards (covered with socks), appropriate clothing for soccer activities, a #4 ball and plenty of water.
PATRIOTS PRE-COMPETITIVE ACADEMY PROGRAM
We also have spots available for our “Pre-Competitive” Academy Program for U6, U7, U8 & U9 players. These teams play in the GBYSL recreational league but are part of our program that prepares players for the competitive level with age appropriate instruction and training. This program requires a bit more commitment from players and their families than what is expect from recreational level teams and players.

Great Basin Youth Soccer League (GBYSL), and the SAGEBRUSH PATRIOTS, Patriots Academy, strongly encourage ALL young athletes attending competitive soccer tryouts, to actively participate in different club or team tryouts. So that they may fully understand the training program or benefits that each team or club may offer to them. Participating in any soccer clubs or independent team tryouts does not register you to play, nor binds you to that particular club or team.
